We are honored to welcome one of the authors of the Buddhist Mind Science curriculum, Hans Burkhardt, to the Dharmakaya Center for a special, immersive in-person retreat. Join us as Hans brings these profound teachings off the cushion and into our daily lives. The weekend begins with an engaging introductory talk on Friday evening, August 14th, followed by a deep-dive, two-day retreat on Saturday, August 15th, and Sunday, August 16th. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with the material in a supportive community setting. We invite all students—both new and those who have previously joined us on this journey—to participate in this transformative weekend of wisdom and warmheartedness.

The retreat will focus on meditations and the mind, providing insight and practical techniques to understand the mechanisms of suffering and happiness, find mental balance, and discover our potential for wisdom and compassion. With an approach that incorporates modern scientific perspectives, the retreat explores how to activate our inner potential to bring about lasting happiness and to contribute to our own welfare and that of others.
